Our client is a global leader in marine navigation systems and professional training devices for commercial fleet. They are looking for a Sales Manager to join their team who will act as Account Manager for the Regional sales in the assigned markets and need to analyze the market potential, the opportunities for the company, provide input for the local budget to the Area Sales Manager and be part of the team responsible to achieve budget.
He/she is also expected to act as a good company representative in a highly professional manner and be a respected consulting expert to the customers to maintain good relationships.

Key Responsibilities
- Act as Account Manager and Project Sponsor in accordance with the Sales Process and Commercial Project Management process within area of responsibility.
- Collecting customer feedback and market research feeding back to marketing, product management and senior sales colleagues.
- Analyze the market in order to identify future customer requirements; participate in the development of the sales strategies.
- Research market for public and commercial tender.
- Proposal preparation and submission in accordance with the Sales Process Supporting and contract negotiations.
- Keep up to date on relevant products and services, rules and regulations.
- Follow Quality Management system requirements.
- Plan and make yearly activity schedule and plan own travel arrangements according to company travel policy.
- Monitor sales results within area of responsibility.
- Help plan customer events and seminars.

Requirements
- Degree with a business orientation
- Knowledge of MS Office including MS Dynamics NAV
- Nautical knowledge / Maritime Certification
- Technical knowledge and International sales experience all an advantage
- Strong business focus and mind set, high integrity, structured and very good sales skills.
- Relationships, resources and conflict resolution management skills.
- Proven track record of 3 years or more within a sale role. Ideally has Maritime Market background. Proposal Marketing skills.
