The company manufactures equipment for the commercial and leisure marine sector and is looking to recruit a well organised, self- motivated sales administrator.
The position requires a team player preferably with an understanding of engineering and commercial matters although training will be given in specific subjects relating to the job. Previous experience of the marine trade is not a pre-requisite but a keen interest in boating will be to your advantage.

Key Responsibilities:
- Input and generate data for the sales and marketing system and to monitor the timely production of such information.
- Assemble enquiries and log them to the system and liaise with the technical department for propeller calculations.
- Communicate with and support sales colleagues to offer the level of customer service required.
- Raise quotations and communicate with customers via email and telephone.
- Dealing with customer requests and answering telephone queries for all aspects of sales and service.
- Chase up sales leads and quotations whilst maintaining good customer relations.
- Maintaining customer records and producing monthly reports.
- Book stand space for Boat shows, coordinate and assist to ensure that boat shows are set up and dismantled correctly, requires physical activity.
- Contract outside vendors for exhibit construction (stand, displays, electricity, carpet, etc…)
- Catalogue, arrange storage and maintain boat show displays and inventory in-between boat shows.
- Arrange transportation of displays to boat shows.
- Constantly monitor costs to make sure that we are using the most cost effective subcontractors.
- Attend various boat shows and help serve customers on the stand, this will include weekend work.
